Role: Teaching Artist for STEAM Afterschool Arts Integration Program with Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership (PAEP)
Sites: Philadelphia School District schools in the North and Northeast Philadelphia areas
Dates/Times: Monday-Thursday, 3-6 pm ET (subject to slight differences per site)
Pay: $25-$30.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Create and conduct scope and sequence lessons that integrate one or more of the core academic pillars of science, math, or literacy, while exposing students to differing creative disciplines.
Assist students:
During homework help time, and engage in Math, Science, and Literacy group activities.
In the distribution of twilight meals.
In the production of two (2) student showcases a year in December and June, open to the family and community.
Maintain the schedule set by PAEP for STEAM Afterschool Program.
Supply clearances to work within the Philadelphia School District.
Attend PAEP professional development offerings.
