Main Line Art Center

Main Line Art Center seeks energetic and creative teaching artists to enhance our youth class offerings. Expertise in drawing and painting, ceramics & sculpture, digital media, or jewelry are all welcome. Classes are themed and may incorporate mixed media techniques for a range of beginner and experienced young artists.

Ideal candidates have experience working with a variety of media in community arts settings and the ability to be responsive to classroom dynamics and student engagement. Experience working with a range of skill levels and ages is preferred. Responsibilities include creating class descriptions for online listings, class syllabi and documenting student progress.

Main Line Art Center features fully equipped studios, a rotating gallery of diverse and inspiring artwork and a community of dedicated and dynamic teaching artists and staff.

Open positions include: Weekly afterschool classes.

Applicants must provide or seek clearance certificates of PA State Police, Criminal Record Check and PA Child Abuse History for all positions.

In order to be considered, applications for teaching positions must include:

  • a current résumé
  • images of current work or of work created by students (5 max, 300 dpi)
  • three professional references
  • course descriptions and lesson plan outlines for courses taught
