Georgia E. Gregory Interdenominational School Of Music

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration or arts management.
2. Proven experience in music administration or non-profit management setting
3. Knowledge of music education [programs and the ability to develop and coordinate various
activities.
4. Strong organizational and communication skills
5. Maintain flow of programming with artistic and program director to ensure excellence.
6. Familiarity with budget management and submit a minimum of (6) grants per year.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with educators, teaching artist and community stakeholders.
8. Strengthen and develop community partnerships and programming
9. The Managing Administrator will oversee day=to=day operations of GEGISOM and work in
concert with the Artistic Director to be hired, to ensure smooth functioning and
adherence to organizational goals. Seeking one who is Innovative, creative and is skilled in
technology music programming and production.
10. Passionate to prepare and educate youth for successful careers in the arts or related fields.
Create artistic programming for youth to express social injustices and challenges
experienced.
Responsibilities include managing budgets, fundraising, coordinating events, team developer for
administrative, teaching artists, and community partners.
The Managing Director will play a pivotal role in grant applications, fundraising efforts and
implementing strategic plans to enhance the school’ attendance and impact on music education

Education Level: 
Bachelors degree and above.
