The Grants Manager assists in the implementation of a comprehensive institutional fundraising program, securing restricted and unrestricted support from new and returning institutional donors, including foundations, corporate foundations, and government entities. Alongside the Director of Foundation Relations and Government Grants, this position works from an approved set of organizational fundraising priorities, including a wide range of education, exhibition, program, strategic priority, and endowment opportunities, among others. This position is responsible for the timely preparation and submission of successful grant proposals, with equal emphasis on the stewardship of foundation relationships and meeting all reporting requirements. In addition to overseeing a portfolio of assigned prospects, the Manager is responsible to identify and cultivate new funders to help the program fulfill its ambitious annual financial objectives.
