Reporting to RAIR’s co-directors, the Director of Development helps design and implement all aspects of RAIR’s fundraising program including foundation support, annual giving initiatives, corporate giving, sponsorships, fundraising events, government grants and major gifts. The Director of Development works in close partnership with the Creative Director and the Managing Director to develop and advance strategic fundraising goals. They also support this work through their active roles working with the Board and Development Committee.

The Director of Development will join the organization as it pursues an ambitious strategic agenda to sustain its internationally-renowned artist residency program while expanding opportunities for local public engagement and impact. Initially, the work will include sustaining the organization’s current budget of around $500,000. Over time, we hope to catalyze growth in support that expands our ability to achieve our mission and impact. The interdisciplinary nature of our work creates opportunities to engage contributors across a range of interest areas, from arts and culture to environment sustainability, and community development.

The Associate Director of Individual Giving is a key member of the Opera Philadelphia (OP) Philanthropy team, responsible for managing donor retention and acquisition efforts, renewal processes, and the Individual Giving end-of-calendar year and end-of-fiscal year campaigns. The Associate Director of Individual Giving manages an active portfolio of 100+ individual donors, with annual gifts ranging from $100 to $5,000.

As a Philanthropy Officer at Opera Philadelphia (OP), you will join an energetic Philanthropy team passionate about securing opera’s future through our donors’ generosity.  This position will be specifically focused identifying new likely donors, in-person qualifying their likelihood and ability to contribute, building relationships with them, and soliciting their support.  

Walnut Street Theatre, America’s oldest theatre, is seeking experienced candidates for the position of Properties Manager. WST produces a five-show mainstage season which consists of three musicals, and two plays, two children’s shows, as well as various educational outreach tours. WST operates a scenic and prop shop with a full-time seasonal shop staff. The Properties Manager is responsible for all prop-related purchases, construction, and rentals.

CCAHA is seeking a Digital Imaging Manager to lead digital imaging projects and oversee a two-person imaging team. Responsibilities include project management, client communications, estimating and planning large digitization projects, and maintaining quality standards across conservation photography, high-resolution imaging, and facsimile production. Candidates should have experience with cultural heritage collections, digital imaging standards (including FADGI), project management, and team supervision. 

The Nakashima Foundation for Peace is a 501(c)3 nonprofit formed in 1986 by George Nakashima, renowned Japanese American architect, woodworker, and leading figure in the 20th century studio craft movement. Originally formed to fulfill George Nakashima’s vision of building Peace Altars around the world, the Foundation has since expanded to preserve and share the Nakashima legacy. The Nakashima Foundation for Peace seeks a mission-driven Director to lead the organization into its next chapter. Working closely with the Board President and Board of Directors, the Director will oversee all aspects of the Foundation’s operations, including staff and volunteers, collections and exhibitions, historic properties, financial and administrative management, and external partnerships. The Director will serve as the Foundation’s chief administrator and public ambassador, strengthening donor relationships, institutional collaborations, historic preservation partnerships, and community engagement. The ideal candidate brings nonprofit leadership experience, strong organizational and financial management skills, and a demonstrated commitment to cultural management, historic preservation, and mission-driven public programming.
