Reporting to the Chief Growth & Strategy Officer (CGSO), the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications plays a key role in achieving market penetration in primary, secondary, and tertiary markets to support growth strategies. The Senior Director of Philanthropy at Please Touch Museum is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and a principal representative of Philanthropy & Advancement. The role is responsible for setting the strategic direction of and goals for the frontline fundraising team, which includes annual, individual, corporate, and institutional giving for general operating and designated purposes, and donor engagement. At the general direction of the Chief Philanthropy & Advancement Officer (CPAO), the Senior Director will oversee the tactics and implementation of PTM’s fundraising strategy, foregrounding donor engagement and fund development predominately in support of operations and programs. They will be critical in translating organization-wide strategies into fundraising priorities and donor opportunities which will aid in growing contributed revenue.
