Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library encompasses an unrivaled museum of American decorative arts in its mansion and galleries and a magnificent 60-acre naturalistic garden—all set on 1,000 gorgeous acres.

Winterthur employs a wide array of positions in the areas of curatorial, horticulture, education, conservation, library, maintenance, marketing, development, technology, and administration.

The position will be responsible for managing and supporting outreach, communication, and partnered programs for the Department of Art, Architecture and Design, both internally within the university and with external constituents including prospective students, alumni, media outlets, and the range of community, corporate, industry, and foundation partners with which the department is engaged. By expanding and strengthening the department's network of external relationships, the position will also be responsible for developing and managing internship programs and placements for current and graduating students of the department, to improve overall student outcomes. Reporting to the Department Chairperson, the position will involve regular travel off campus, and will oversee wage and work study students that support the role and scope of the position. Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications is a vital member of the marketing team overseeing the Penn Live Arts website, advertising initiatives, blog and promotional outreach. The associate director also provides key support in print and web material production, public relations, social media and overall department operations.

Essential Functions: 

Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) and working closely with the President & CEO (CEO), the Major Gifts Officer is an integral part of the Philadelphia Foundation team with the primary responsibility of growing and managing the major gifts and planned giving program. This position is responsible for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of individual major gifts prospects, and stewarding existing donors. S/he/they will develop and manage strong relationships with key professional advisors and stakeholders.

Position Summary

The Associate Director, Facilities & Maintenance is responsible for overseeing and supporting the overall maintenance and upkeep of the site in all facets of facilities and events. This includes, but is not limited to: exhibit maintenance, daily upkeep of public site areas, repair and maintenance of building systems and fixtures, general landscaping, custodial care of offices and restrooms, safety scope of work, and special projects as needed. This also includes managing related vendor and contractor relationships. The role will be responsible for managing facilities, custodial, and AV technician role(s) including hiring, developing, overseeing, performance reviews and corrective action up to and including termination.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator undertakes promotion, media coordination, and the production of publicity and marketing materials for Al-Bustan and its programs. Communicating with stakeholders in a timely fashion the Marketing and Communications Coordinator executes strategies aimed at increasing Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture’s revenue and reputation, while seeking opportunities for strategic enhancement of marketing and communications processes.

The GPS Specialist operates as both a Console Operator and Gallery Monitor playing a key role in front-line staff operations, providing the team with constant visual surveillance information to help provide an exceptional guest experience, as well as to ensure the safety and protection of the collection and the Foundations buildings and grounds. Guest and Protection Services Specialists are part of a team that are truly the face of the Barnes Foundation and work under the direction of the Director of Guest and Protection Services to ensure a visit to the Barnes is informative, friendly, respectful and safe.
