The Clay Studio (TCS) seeks a results-oriented Director of Development to lead the organization’s next growth phase.  The Director, a key member of the Executive Team,  provides the leadership to leverage the organization’s regional and national reputation in the ceramic arts and focus on strategic approaches to expand TCS’s philanthropic base, empowering donors across all segments to engage deeply in the mission and vision of The Clay Studio.

Executive Assistant (EA), to President and CEO manages the strategic administrative functions, and is responsible for the operational effectiveness, of the office of the President and CEO. The EA provides both everyday administrative support as well as special project support to the President & CEO and acts as an ambassador and first point of contact for the Museum to key constituencies such as its staff, Board of Directors, partners, and the public.

Porters are responsible for providing efficient, quality service to the Museum’s guests and staff. Porters monitor and ensure the clean appearance and sanitization of the Museum including but not limited to the galleries, restrooms, back-of-house, offices, outside grounds, and parking lot. Porters must maintain a clean and safe environment at a level that promotes high guest satisfaction. This position reports to the Manager, Custodial Services.

This position is part of the AFSCME Local 397 bargaining unit.

Working closely with the Managing Director and Artistic Director, the Director of Development leads a two-person team to plan and implement fundraising strategies for the Festival raising over $1.1 million annually with increases in the coming years. Fundraising is accomplished through multiple avenues including solicitation of current and prospective individual and corporate donors, cultivation and stewardship, special events, foundation and government grants, government relations, and annual appeals.

The Proto-typing & Digital Fabrication Studio Manager supports all aspects of TCS studio processes, with a focus on the new digital and traditional Fabrication Studio and on teaching digital fabrication classes.
