Group Sales and Ticketing Services Associate

Walnut Street Theatre is seeking a Group Sales and Ticketing Services Associate.

Position Overview

Predominantly outward-focusing position reporting to the Director of Marketing and Public Relations.  Primary focuses include managing both subscription and single-ticket group sales, acting as liaison between Walnut Street Theatre (WST) and Ticketmaster, providing on-the-fly Archtics problem solving, and assisting with day-to-day management of the Ticketing Services & Subscriptions offices, as needed. Position includes bonus incentives for exceeding group goals.

40 hr., 9am-5pm work schedule with occasional evenings and one weekend day per month, to be determined with the Ticketing Department.

Responsibilities

• Generating group leads, contacting potential group leaders, and representing WST at public events.
• Act as primary point of contact with all Walnut group leaders, both for subscription and single-ticket buyers – leading efforts for group renewal, pricing, and reporting.
• Creating reservations, invoices, and tracking groups as a part of the group sales process.
• Management of school groups for weekday matinees, including creating seating charts, coordinating bus arrival, and dismissal.
• Exhibiting strong interpersonal skills, working as a liaison with Box Office and other departments on behalf of Groups Sales and Ticketing Services.
• Learning and assisting in the management of Ticketmaster Systems including Archtics, Engage, and TM1, in coordination with the Ticketing Department.
• Working directly with the Ticketmaster staff to problem solve and brainstorm ways to optimize WST’s use of Archtics, Engage, TM1, etc. coordination with the Ticketing Department.
• Create and send patron reminder emails and texts in coordination with Marketing team.
• Occasional lobby duty as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Group Sales and Ticketing Services Associate is a full-time salaried position, with a salary of $33,000, additional bonus incentives, excellent health benefits and paid time off.
