The PHL Visitor Center Manager will lead a busy temporary (6-month) visitor center and Philly-centric gift shop in Terminal A-West of Philadelphia International Airport, greeting millions of travelers during the monumental global tourism events taking place in Philadelphia and across the Commonwealth in 2026. 

Total employment duration is May 1, 2026 - January 15, 2027.

Salary: $6,000 per month, to be paid out in bi-weekly payroll cycle

The Shop Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily store operations at the Barnes Foundation and Calder Gardens. The position is responsible for the sales floor, the presentation of product, overseeing and fulfilling ecommerce orders, and the delivery of consistent and superior customer service. Work with Shop Manager to implement Shop policies and procedures and maintain a team-oriented environment that reflects the Foundation’s educational mission and core values.

The Assistant Manager, Play Operations serves as the museum’s daily Manager on Duty (MOD) and is responsible for the successful oversight of museum floor operations. The Assistant Manager will work across departments to ensure high-quality playful visitor experience and excellent customer service to all museum visitors. This position will coordinate play and family experiences in museum exhibits and programming spaces, oversee daily floor operations, and be responsible for scheduling floor coverage and other administrative duties in the Museum Learning department.

Visitor Services Associate
Schedule: Part-time, 12-15 hours a week. Friday through Sunday. Generally 11:30am - 5:30pm

Qualifications
The successful candidate will be experienced, motivated, customer service oriented, and excel in high-end retail sales. The Visitor Services Sales Associate serves as an ambassador for the organization’s mission and vision.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in the arts and cultural organizations, particularly in museum or gallery sales.
