Main Line Art Center

Main Line Art Center seeks energetic and creative teaching artists to enable us to strengthen and enhance the classes we offer to adults. Our facilities feature fully equipped studios for painting & drawing, metalsmithing and jewelry, ceramics and sculpture, paper and book arts, and glass fusing. Come join our team!

We are looking for teaching artists to lead in-person classes in drawing and painting topics. A successful candidate must be personable, supportive of students, knowledgeable about the studio environment and have the flexibility to address classes of students with a range of skill levels.

Applicants for all classes must provide or be seeking clearance certificates of PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI background check and PA Child Abuse History.

In order to be considered, applications for teaching positions must include:

  • a current resume
  • images of current work or of work created by students (5 max, 300 dpi)
  • three professional references
  • a class proposal including class duration, syllabus, student supply lists etc.
