We are seeking someone with leadership skills who will be responsible for supporting arts program development and impact measurement. The Program & Education Manager will support teaching artists and instructors with curriculum development, assessing learning objectives, and evaluating outcomes.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Weekly virtual senior staff meeting (1 hour)
- On-site support and observation for afterschool classes (4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thrusdays)
- On-site support and observation for the Saturday class (9:30 am - 1:00 pm)
- Serve as manager of the organization’s Camp Ginkgo (4-weeks in July)
- Monitor program attendance and follow up with parents as needed
- Capture feedback from participants and parents
- Conduct outreach with schools, community groups, and other organizations
- Create narratives that highlight the value of WPCC programs from the perspectives of both participants and parents
Qualifications:
- Familiarity or professional experience with Arts Administration, Education, and Community Engagement.
- Having strong organizational skills and attention to detail, anticipating and articulating administrative needs, and able to work independently while conveying information and communicating with staff in a timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and friendly demeanor with an ability to work with teaching artists, partners, students, and staff.
Compensation:
The Program & Education Manager position is a flexible part-time position with a fee pay rate of $20 per hour. Time required per week is approximately 16 hours, depending on need.
During the 4-weeks of Camp Ginkgo July 7 – Aug 1 / Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The pay will be $875 per week which also covers the camp staff meeting prior to camp starting, a nutrition program meeting, and the one-hour parent orientation.
