About the LEDC

The Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to celebrate the arts as a catalyst to generate economic activity and encourage investment in the Lansdowne area. We do this through a variety of events and services for current and prospective businesses, as well as residents and visitors.

The LEDC operates an art studio and co-working building called UtilityWorks. Which includes affordable artist studios, a gallery, ceramics studio as well as space open for use by the broader community. The LEDC oversees the administration and planning of several festivals and fairs, including Arts on the Ave, a fall outdoor street festival, A Bit of the Arts, an indoor winter fine art festival, and the Lansdowne Farmers Market, which runs weekly during the summer and at select times during the rest of the year. Additionally, the LEDC partners with the Lansdowne Borough to aid in the production of events.
