DiasporaDNA is seeking motivated and culturally curious interns to join our team for Summer 2026 and/or Fall 2026. This is a part-time, onsite internship based at our headquarters at Cherry Street Pier. Interns will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit programming, event coordination, community outreach, and cultural storytelling. We are recruiting for 2–3 interns per season.

About Artcinia

Artcinia and its Music in YOUR Neighborhood program were launched in June 2021 as a pandemic-era response to the performance cancellations and venue closures that severely disrupted Philadelphia’s performing arts community. Established to support professional musicians and reconnect communities during a period of isolation, the program soon evolved beyond a crisis response to focus on improving access to the performing arts.

Porters are responsible for providing efficient, quality service to the Museum’s guests and staff. Porters monitor and ensure the clean appearance and sanitization of the Museum including but not limited to the galleries, restrooms, back-of-house, offices, outside grounds, and parking lot. Porters must maintain a clean and safe environment at a level that promotes high guest satisfaction. This position reports to the Manager, Custodial Services.

This position is part of the AFSCME Local 397 bargaining unit.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA is in search of an Events Coordinator. The Playhouse has become one of the leading regional theaters on the East Coast and is the largest arts organization in Bucks County.  BCP presents a year-round schedule of original productions, featuring stars of the stage and screen, and visiting artists presentations.  Its two-acre campus includes the historic Playhouse and Playhouse Barn; Playhouse Deck, a full restaurant and bar; an outdoor courtyard café; waterfall picnic area; river promenade; and the historic Lambertville Hall.

Position:              Maintenance Technician

Reports To:        Assistant Director of Campus Operations

Requirements:  

• Valid driver license, High School or higher graduate, read and write in English, able to use and operate a computer/ laptop.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical and/or carpentry is a plus

Responsibilities:

The Museum seeks a skilled Installation Technician to support exhibition installations, packing and storage solutions. This position requires strong art handling expertise and the ability to work collaboratively on installation projects while maintaining the highest standards of collections care.

Specifically, you will:
 

Install and deinstall artwork for gallery installations, exhibitions, storage, and special projects as assigned  

Handle, pack, transport, and store art objects according to museum protocols and industry standards 

The Preparator reports to the Director of Registration and Exhibition Management. The Preparator will have particular responsibility for the deinstallation, reinstallation, handling, movement, and packing of objects and collection materials on all locations of the Barnes Foundation, offsite storage, and Calder Gardens. They will participate in the planning, installation and deinstallation of temporary special exhibitions and displays. The Preparator will work with the conservation team on preventive conservation duties, such as collections housekeeping, monitoring of collection contacts, and relamping of lights in collection areas. They will participate as a member of the Collections and Exhibitions division under the direction of the Vice President of Art and Education and Gund Family Chief Curator.
