Project Overview

Mural Arts Philadelphia is seeking qualified visual artists or artist teams to design and execute a community-centered public mural as part of the Engaging Women and Girls of Color (EWGOC) Initiative. This project will center the voices, lived experiences, and leadership of women and girls of color, including trans individuals, and will be grounded in community engagement within Kensington, Fairhill, Strawberry Mansion and/or surrounding areas.

Job description: The Unitarian Society of Germantown is seeking a part-time Church Sexton to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance necessary for our historic and beautiful church building, adjacent nursery school building, and grounds. The Collections Care Technician is responsible for collections housekeeping, and weekend/holiday gallery checks. This position works closely with the conservation, collections management, exhibition, guest and protection services, and facilities teams. 

The Collections Care Technician reports to the Senior Director of Conservation and additionally works under the guidance of the Senior Conservation Coordinator at both the Barnes Foundation and at Calder Gardens.

The Museum Facilities Specialist is responsible under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager for providing a first-class experience to the Foundation’s visitors, guests, and employees by maintaining the Foundation’s building and grounds with continual care and maintenance.

The Assistant Manager, Play Operations serves as the museum’s daily Manager on Duty (MOD) and is responsible for the successful oversight of museum floor operations. The Assistant Manager will work across departments to ensure high-quality playful visitor experience and excellent customer service to all museum visitors. This position will coordinate play and family experiences in museum exhibits and programming spaces, oversee daily floor operations, and be responsible for scheduling floor coverage and other administrative duties in the Museum Learning department.
