Bread & Roses Community Fund (BRCF) seeks an experienced, progressive professional to help advance the organization’s mission to support grassroots organizing for racial, social, and economic justice. BRCF focuses on change, not charity™ with the expressed goal of radically transforming society to make it more equitable and accessible for all. The Director of Programs will lead the organization’s programmatic function, including management and direction of all community engagement and grantmaking programs, as well as provide leadership, oversight, and evaluation of the Bread & Roses programmatic function. The person in this role oversees program implementation and must be adept at developing management infrastructure related to the overall function of programming at Bread & Roses. Ideal candidates will have experience with models of distributive leadership, managing budgets, grant contracts, and cultivating relationships with partners and stakeholders, as well as a proven ability to represent organizations in a public-facing role. This position reports to the Executive Director of BRCF, is a key member of the BRCF leadership team, and regularly prepares reports for the Board of Directors and relevant Board Committees.
