Summer Camp Volunteer

We’re looking for dedicated, enthusiastic individuals to support our campers as they explore Arab arts, language, music, and storytelling in a fun, inclusive environment. Whether you're an educator, artist, caregiver, or simply someone who values cultural connection and community-building, your time and presence can make a real difference. Volunteer Position: Summer Camp Counselor 

Opportunity:  Art & Culture Summer Camp
Lessons: Arabic, Calligraphy, Visual Arts, musical percussion, Martial Arts, Storytelling, Music production (outdoor/indoor)  

Needed commitment: Two weeks / June16th, 2025 – June27th, 2025 (no weekends) 
Time: 8:30am-5pm 
Location: Germantown Friends Meeting house ( 47 W Coulter St, Philadelphia, PA 19144) 

Main tasks: General Summer Camp Support which includes: 
1. Assisting the teachers and artists during the educational lessons and art activities with the kids. 
2. Engaging and supervising kids during summer camp hours. 
3. Assisting staff with materials, logistics and activities preparations. 

Notes:
* Lunch for volunteers is covered for all days 
* Must be 16 years old and above 
* 18+ Must submit 3 required clearances (child abuse, FBI finger print, and Criminal history) - We cover the expenses for these
* Must be available in person for the whole duration of camp days & times * We don't provide visa sponsorship
