Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania

The Morris Arboretum & Gardens, which hosts over 100 rental events each year, is seeking a part-time (18-20 hours per week) Rental Coordinator to assist with all aspects of the Rental Program, including communication, client touring, event prep/support/management, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

In a customer-focused way, handle client and vendor-related support, trouble-shooting, and communications (via email, phone, and in person).

Provide rental tours of the Arboretum and respond to inquiries from potential clients.

Handle administrative tasks related to the Rental Program.

Between April and October, assist with on-site event activities, including vendor coordination, golf cart driving and on-site event supervision.

 

Qualified candidate will have:

Outgoing, customer-centered demeanor.

Experience in a comparable, customer-focused role.

Experience problem-solving and thinking on their feet in fast-paced situations.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage substantial information.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively.

Ability to convey information in a clear, concise manner.

Ability to walk for long periods of time, in all types of weather.

A valid driver’s license.

Experience working on a computer, particularly with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).

 

This is a part-time (18-20 hour/week), year-round position that requires regular weekday, weekend, and evening work.
