Job Title: Development Database Administrator

Reports to: Development & Membership Manager

Job Status: Part-Time (24 hours per week)

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Salary Range: $22.00-$26.00/hour

Position Summary & Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supports the activities of the membership and development programs, which include maintaining database management, integrity and security. Responsible for gift processing and acknowledgement.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain DonorPerfect member & donor database; this includes creating and updating constituent records, recording donations and pledges accurately, generating timely donor acknowledgement letters and gift receipts for dues and contributions
  • Produce regular membership & fundraising reports
  • Analyze Athenaeum fundraising data trends and make informed recommendations to the Development & Membership Manager and the Executive Director regarding 1814 Society prospects
  • Support the membership and donor benefits programs with Development & Membership Manager
  • Act as the primary lead for donor database projects, updates, and conversions to ensure data integrity
  • Available for evening or weekend hours as needed; may include staffing Athenaeum programs and events with other team members
  • Help staff the Member Lounge Desk with other team members as needed
  • Perform other related duties as requested

 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Experience with DonorPerfect desired. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and Google Drive. Able to work in high-traffic areas and with multiple demands. Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of accuracy and manage confidential and sensitive information. Professional demeanor, self-confident, team player who is able to take initiative. Strong record of top-notch customer service and administrative support.
