Technical Theater Coordinator - Audio

Rutgers University-Camden School of Faculty Arts & Sciences seeks a Technical Theater Coordinator to join the staff of the Visual, Media, and Performing Arts Department. Under the general direction of the VMPA Technical Supervisor/Production Manager, the Theater Coordinator works with an additional Theater Coordinator to assist with all technical functions of the Gordon and Black Box theater, including sound, lighting, set design and construction, with an emphasis in audio. The Theater Coordinator will support the Technical Supervisor in the use and maintenance of the theatre and other campus facilities for event specific needs, assists in coordinating the use of facilities for internal and external users; collaborates with other departments regarding specific technical needs for productions and events, oversees, and directs theater staff and volunteers. The Theater Coordinator assists the Supervisor in staffing and supervising all events in the theater spaces, including internal and external events.

Please note that this position depends on the availability of ongoing funding. If the funding is reduced or discontinued the role may be modified or eliminated. Funding is currently in place for one year.
