Brian Sanders’ JUNK is looking for a talented and qualified Interim Part-Time Operations Manager to work approximately 20 hours a week. The position is expected to last 6 months. Experience is required in finance management (including bookkeeping and budgeting) and project management (including contract review, negotiation, and compliance). Nonprofit arts experience is a plus.
The Interim Part-Time Manager will hold primary responsibilities in:
- Grant and Fundraising Management
- Operations and Financial Management
Grant and Fundraising Management
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that current grant requirements are met, including reporting and other grant-related activities.
- Identifying and cultivating future funding opportunities, including corporate sponsorship and individual donor support.
- Writing grant applications.
Operations and Financial Management
Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial reports for the Board of Directors and funders.
- Using QuickBooks to track expenses, revenue, and annual budget; to pay artists, independent contractors, and vendors; to create, send, and track invoices.
- Managing CRM/donor database (Artful.ly); creating and distributing appeal letters and acknowledgments.
- Communication and collaboration with Board of Directors and pertinent committees regarding operations and financial management.
- Working with Artistic Director and Board of Directors on programing, marketing and project management.
