About this Internship:

The LEDC Arts and Community Internship Program will offer the experience of working in a nonprofit organization focusing on arts and community. Internships are designed primarily for undergraduate and graduate students, although open to anyone with a strong desire and commitment. Interns will work closely with LEDC staff and will be involved with regular activities as well as special projects as needed.

Walnut Street Theatre, America’s oldest theatre, is seeking experienced candidates for the position of Properties Manager. WST produces a five-show mainstage season which consists of three musicals, and two plays, two children’s shows, as well as various educational outreach tours. WST operates a scenic and prop shop with a full-time seasonal shop staff. The Properties Manager is responsible for all prop-related purchases, construction, and rentals.

Allens Lane Art Center seeks a collaborative and organized Assistant Camp Director to support the leadership of our arts-based summer camp program. This role works closely with the Camp Director to implement programming, supervise staff, oversee the Creative Internship Training (CIT) program and aftercare, ensure camper safety, and maintain strong communication with families. The position begins part-time in spring for pre-camp planning and transitions to full-time during the 8-week summer camp season. Allens Lane Art Center seeks an experienced and collaborative Camp Director to lead our arts-based
summer camp program. This role provides full leadership of camp operations, including staff supervision,
program implementation, camper safety, and family communication. The position begins part-time in spring
for hiring and planning and transitions to full-time during the 8-week summer camp season. This is an ideal
role for a strong youth-program leader who thrives in creative environments and is passionate about arts
education and community engagement.
