The Philadelphia Women’s Theatre Festival is now seeking playwright applications for our 2023 festival, centered around the subject of the ever-expanding definition of gender and womanhood. 

Glen Foerd seeks an energetic Environmental Program Manager to manage its environmental programs and work directly with youth and the public throughout the year. The Environmental Program Manager will manage the full-time On-Water Coordinator as well as seasonal employees and will report to Glen Foerd’s Executive Director.

Position Description: The Program Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust slate of adult and family programs. The Program Manager, Arts & Culture, will report to Glen Foerd’s Assistant Director and will manage interns and part-time program staff as needed.

PlayArts is seeking teacher candidates for our school-age PlayLoud AfterSchool program for the 2023-24 school year. Our program takes places offsite in 3 locations in Fishtown: Adaire Elementary, Hackett Elementary, and Moffet Elementary.

The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance was founded in 1972 and is one of the nation’s best-known and most effective arts service organizations.  We operate in five counties surrounding Philadelphia, and also serve southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware as part of our metropolitan region.  We have over 450 nonprofit and for-profit members, but the Alliance serves the entire cultural sector – over 1,500 performing arts, visual arts, history, science, horticulture, arts education, community art centers and other cultural organizations. 

Historic Fair Hill is a nonprofit that stewards a 5 acre site, supports community revitalization projects, and serves as a school partner in the School District of Philadelphia.

Glen Foerd seeks a fulltime Preservation Caretaker. A rent-free 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom historic house is included as part of the salary package.

Each year, we send artists to schools throughout the Delaware Valley for long-term, small group music instruction. The program could include: in-school student pull-outs, aiding an existing music teacher during class, or working after school with kids to hone and build music skills. Musicians of all stripes needed, but especially Brass, Woodwind, Guitar, Vocalists, and String instructors. The EJC Project Manager works in partnership with the Executive Director, and in coordination with the Community Liaison Lead, to advance the work of the Foundation/EJC through the planning, budgeting, tracking, coordination, oversight and implementation of EJC Virtual Hub goals and tactics. The Project Manager will drive planning, tracking and completion of all EJC related activities and deliverables. The Project Manager will function as the liaison between the EJC Steering Committee, other project stakeholders, PBF/EJC Staff, and the Technical Development Team to advance the project and keep all tasks and priorities on track. Activities will include building the project plan, tracking deliverables, coordinating reporting and input among stakeholders, and tracking the budget. The position requires excellent attention to detail, creative thinking, evaluation and study of problems and written solutions and presentations to those problem. In addition, the project manager will serve as a liaison between the steering committee and technical experts for the development of the navigation portal and related initiatives.

The Philadelphia Bar Foundation's Communication and Advocacy Lead works in partnership with the Executive Director and the Director of Community Engagement to advance the mission and strategic goals of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation and PBF Holdings, Inc. by running external and internal communications. This position assists with all aspects of communications for the Foundation and the Equal Justice Center which includes marketing, advertising, public relations, media relations, print collateral, email marketing, solicitation materials, promotions, event planning, web content, social media, digital assets, data stewardship, brand reputation, outreach, advocacy, and engagement on critical issues. This position offers opportunity for hybrid work and includes some night and weekend events and requires strong customer service skills.
