Arch Street Meeting House Preservation Trust

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all visitors, individuals and groups, when they arrive at the meetinghouse. Process visitor entry fee transactions and respond to inquiries related to the building's history.

Assist rental groups with property access, building systems, enforcing site protocols, answering questions throughout rental, including setup and breakdown.

Assist with programs, field trips and tours as assigned, must be able to memorize tour.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A GED, bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Front-line customer service experience preferred, including proficiency with POS systems and direct engagement with the public.

Experience working with youth groups, schools, or students is required.

Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to oversee program and event logistics as needed.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.

Compensation & Benefits: This is a Band 1 position, earning $20.00 dollars per hour, depending on experience, and does not include benefits, however, all staff not insured through the ASMH plan are eligible for a $200 a month health stipend with proof of other insurance.

Time Expectations:

This is a seasonal, weekend position averaging approximately 12 hours per week. It is an hourly, non-exempt role reporting to the Education and Museum Manager of ASMHPT.

Schedule:

- Saturdays: 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

- Sundays: 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM

- Additional flexible hours, including evenings, may be assigned based on availability and site operational needs to support rentals and programs.

Shifts longer than six hours include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
