The Chamber is seeking a highly motivated Officer, Investor Relations to lead ongoing outreach to the Chamber’s most engaged and invested members, those who contribute at higher tiers and expect a return in influence and community impact. This role builds trusted relationships, keeps investors informed on regional priorities, and ensures they remain informed and connected to the Chamber’s strategic initiatives. By focusing on transformational value, the positions plays a critical role in deepening investor loyalty and increasing investor lifetime value.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities – Investor Engagement & Strategic Retention
- Implement the Chamber’s standardized investor relations processes to foster positive, professional relationships to drive assigned investors' satisfaction, engagement, and renewal.
- Serve as the engagement Officer for a defined portfolio of investors, providing thoughtful and consistent connectivity that aligns with their tier level and expectations.
- Conduct consistent, impactful outreach to investors to understand their priorities and align Chamber efforts with their objectives.
- Keep investors updated on key business and policy initiatives, regional issues, and emerging opportunities for influence.
- Guide investors toward high-value opportunities, including strategic committees, executive-level programs, sponsorships, and leadership visibility.
- Identify opportunities to enhance investment levels by understanding each investor’s goals and aligning them with Chamber opportunities.
- Manage the investor renewal process by focusing on customized value narratives and planning next steps for investment planning.
- Act as a liaison between investors and Chamber leadership, including facilitating introductions, meetings, and opportunities for influence.
- Ensure that investor interactions are logged and tracked accurately in the CRM system.
- Ensure effective partnership and collaboration with Investor Relations support team and other Chamber departments to ensure benefit fulfillment and that visibility, participation, and strategic support align with each investor’s tier level.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
General Responsibilities & Duties
- Always represent the Chamber in a highly professional and strategic manner.
- Attend investor-focused events, public policy forums, committee meetings, and select business community activities.
- Prepare and deliver investor reports, touchpoint summaries, and status updates for internal review.
- Support investor recognition efforts in collaboration with marketing and communications staff.
- Perform other duties as needed to support investor success and satisfaction.
Job Specifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in investor relations, strategic account management, business development, fundraising, or membership engagement with executive-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to cultivate high-level relationships and deliver a consultative engagement experience.
- Strong communication and active listening skills; ability to uncover and address business needs.
- Experience using CRM tools and developing engagement strategies based on investor insights.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and presentation software.
- Demonstrated commitment to follow-through, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Professionalism and comfort in engaging with CEOs, senior executives, and civic leaders.
- Must reside in the greater Philadelphia region and have access to reliable transportation, a valid license, and proof of insurance.

Work Conditions
The Chamber operates in a hybrid work environment that allows for a flexible schedule while requiring employees to work in-person at least two days per week. Exceptions to this schedule may be made based on departmental needs. When on-site, work is performed in a professional, deadline-driven office setting with regular interaction with Chamber colleagues, members, and investors.
This role involves extended periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and speaking on the phone. The individual will also be required to attend Chamber-hosted or partner events and meetings outside of regular business hours and outside of Center City Philadelphia.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually, plus the opportunity to earn additional performance-based incentives for personal and team-based performance.
