Development and Studio Administrator

The Development and Studio Administrator will work closely with and report to the Director of Development and the Associate Director. This integral role supports InLiquid's fundraising efforts with individuals, foundations, corporations, and government entities to advance the organization's mission. The role is full-time, in-person days and occasional evening and weekend event attendance.

Reports to: Director of Development, Associate Director, and  Executive Director

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage donor database, including data entry, generating reports and mailing lists, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Process and acknowledge donations promptly through personalized acknowledgment letters.
  • Provide administrative support for fundraising events, including managing guest lists, coordinating with vendors, soliciting sponsors and business and artist donors for auction items, and other event logistics in partnership with the Event Planning Consultant.
  • Assist with grant writing, data collection, administration, reporting, and completing application information to meet deadlines.
  • Support fundraising appeal efforts by producing mailing lists from the Neon donor CRM/database, coordinating letter merges, and leading printing and mailing efforts. 
  • Assist with donor identification, research, cultivation, solicitation, gift acknowledgments, and stewardship to foster a culture of welcome and gratitude.
  • Coordinate with various InLiquid teams to integrate donation opportunities across platforms.
  • Assist the Executive Director and Development Director in communicating with donors, funder partners, and the Board to tell the organization's story, department priorities, and progress supporting fundraising efforts.
  • Complete light bookkeeping in coordination with the Assistant Director.
  • Adapt to evolving fundraising priorities and contribute to special projects that advance the organization's mission and fundraising objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in a nonprofit or related professional setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in database management systems (CRM) and Google Workspace
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic analytical and data management skills
  • Commitment to advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism principles
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends for special events

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in progress or completed (not required)
  • Interest in or knowledge of visual arts
  • Experience with or strong interest in fundraising principles and strategies, working with nonprofit boards and donors, philanthropic and arts communities, and administrative operations.

Salary: $37K – 41.6K commensurate with experience.
