The Assistant Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) will work with Temple’s CFR Executive Director and other CFR team members to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward foundation and corporate prospects to secure financial support for Temple University’s funding priorities. The Assistant Director will provide support in the following areas of CFR: fundraising, grants administration, stewardship, and other department administrative functions.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least three years of fundraising in higher education and/or industry relations experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

Required Skills & Abilities:
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding personal initiative. Highly detail oriented and motivated.
•    Superior communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse constituencies, clarity, and persuasiveness in written and oral communications.
•    Strong organizational skills; ability to plan ahead, think strategically, and manage multiple projects and deadlines; ability to remain calm and level-headed under pressure. Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
•    Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•    Candidate must demonstrate an extremely high level of professionalism, collegiality, self-motivation, organization and familiarity with the goals and objectives of Temple University.

Preferred:

•   Experience in Higher Education Corporate and Foundation Relations area. Previous development, higher education and/or nonprofit experience.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
