POSITION: Major Gifts and Corporate Relations Officer

The Fabric Workshop and Museum (FWM) is a contemporary art museum, with an internationally-acclaimed Artists-in-Residence (AIR) program, located in Center City, Philadelphia. Founded in 1977, FWM encourages artists at all stages of their careers to experiment with new materials and new media in a veritable living laboratory. The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and producing custom designs under the Barnes brand.

This position provides executive administrative support to the Neubauer Family Executive Director and President and Board of Trustees, serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies pertaining to this office. This role also acts as the liaison to the Board of Trustees and senior management team; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects.

This summer, Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art is seeking undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in the arts and cultural sector. Interns will gain an in-depth understanding of specific areas of museum work by participating in departmental activities and projects under the supervision of mentoring staff. Through practical training, hands-on projects, off-site field trips, and networking opportunities, interns will prepare for careers in arts administration, fundraising, and non-profit organizations.

The Collections Care Technician is responsible for collections housekeeping, and weekend/holiday gallery checks. This position works closely with the conservation, collections management, exhibition, guest and protection services, and facilities teams. 

The Collections Care Technician reports to the Senior Director of Conservation and additionally works under the guidance of the Senior Conservation Coordinator at both the Barnes Foundation and at Calder Gardens.

The Museum Facilities Specialist is responsible under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager for providing a first-class experience to the Foundation’s visitors, guests, and employees by maintaining the Foundation’s building and grounds with continual care and maintenance.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial procedures and financial compliance
through preparation of the Museum’s financial reports and statements. Provides detailed support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash analysis and financial statement analysis including all reconciliation activities.
