Primary Function: Handles the setup, breakdown, and operation of Barnes AV equipment, including audio, video, lighting, or staging equipment. Oversees safe and efficient use of this equipment to support live and virtual art lectures, musical performances, and client events -- including corporate retreats and weddings. Ensures that complete customer satisfaction is achieved and is accountable for all inventory before, during and after each event.

The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for the logistics, administration, and facilitation of a wide range of rental, cultivation, and other events at Hagley. Under the direction of the Special Events Manager, the Coordinator ensures the delivery of high-quality guest and client experiences at all stages of the event planning and fulfilment process

The Science History Institute is seeking a full-time Director of Accounting to plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the Institute’s accounting, audit, financial, and regulatory functions and systems. The Director of Accounting will support the Chief Financial Officer with systems and processes to manage the organization’s endowment and investment managers.

Schedule: 11 pm – 7 am, 5 days/wk

Rate: $19.10/hr

Primary Function: The Guest and Protection Services Senior Specialist plays a key role in front-line operations by providing the team with constant visual surveillance information and access control to help provide an exceptional guest and staff experience, as well as to ensure the safety and protection of the collection and the Foundation’s buildings and grounds. The Senior Specialist provides a best-in-class experience to every person who works in and visits our institution. This includes engaging guests in conversation about the collection and the Foundations history, answering questions, enforcing rules, looking out for suspicious behavior, and maintaining the integrity of our back of house spaces and processes. Guest and Protection Services Senior Specialists are part of a team that are truly the face of the Barnes Foundation and work under the direction of the Assistant Director of Guest and Protection Services to ensure a visit to the Barnes is informative, friendly, respectful and safe.

Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library encompasses an unrivaled museum of American decorative arts in its mansion and galleries and a magnificent 60-acre naturalistic garden—all set on 1,000 gorgeous acres.

Visitor Experience Assistants (VEAs) welcome visitors to the Museum and engage with children and families in the exhibits, facilitating positive play-based learning experiences. VEAs provide customer service throughout the Museum floor through their knowledge of daily programming, Museum exhibits, ticketing/membership offerings, and wayfinding. VEAs take the lead in engaging with visitors in the Food & Family exhibit and Carousel operations and providing age-appropriate exhibit engagement opportunities that create memorable experiences for children and their families.

The Marshall Steam Museum seeks a dynamic individual to assume a multi-faceted position with a primary focus on developing, marketing, delivering and evaluating exciting and meaningful educational experiences for all ages, with an emphasis on our youngest audiences (pre-K through grade 5).

About Us 

Primary Function: As the first point of contact with guests to the Barnes Foundation, the Box Office and Call Center Specialist is responsible for consistently providing superior customer service to guests: selling tickets, tours, memberships, classes, and other Barnes programs. The Specialist ensures an efficient and welcoming entry through our ticketing process and a best-in-class experience to every person who interacts with our institution. The Specialist makes the “customer centered” concept a daily reality in all interactions, decisions, and exchanges with guests. The Specialist works both on the phone and in-person, stationed in a call center, at the box office, member desk, or other locations depending on the needs of the day. Specialists use a digital point-of-sale system to process financial transactions and are responsible for accuracy.
