The Wagner Free Institute of Science seeks a full time Museum Educator. This position works as part of the Education Department to plan and implement museum-based programming including lessons for school groups, Saturday programs, and college/adult tours. Responsibilities include leading and scheduling field trips for school and other community groups and coordinating visits for college and adult groups. The Museum Educator is one of the public-facing positions at the Wagner that helps supervise visitor services and assists with visitor engagement, in addition to leading the museum’s scheduled group visits. The position works closely with the Director of Children’s Education and other education staff on the planning of special events and development of new programming. They collaborate with staff across the institution including collections and museum staff, to support program delivery and promotion.

The Assistant, Strategy & Development is a key contributor to the National Constitution Center’s mission and strategic goals. This position is the perfect fit for an individual looking for exposure to the full range of fundraising and development operations and best practices, working closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President of Strategy & Development, and who desires to join a small, high-tempo team, with opportunities for great growth potential. This position will help ensure that the strategy and development team is creating, cultivating, and sustaining key donor and prospect relationships, developing long-term strategies and fundraising pitches, and executing against other critical projects. 
The Assistant, Strategy & Development plays a key role in the cultivation, strategy, and administrative duties related to the Center’s highest dollar donors (members of the President’s Council), as well as foundation and corporate donors and prospects, and assisting as needed with our membership program. Areas of responsibility include donor management and cultivation via drafting donor communications, conducting donor and prospect research, and preparing background briefings for meetings; management of internal tracking systems and ensuring the quality of donor and prospect data in the Center’s database and marketing systems; logistical and administrative duties; and other projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate is strongly committed to the NCC’s nonpartisan mission and is motivated by our important task ahead. We welcome candidates who have recently obtained their bachelor’s degree or who are graduating in December 2022, as well as candidates with a couple of years of experience in nonprofit development and fundraising.
