Arch Street Meeting House Preservation Trust
This is a part-time (roughly 19 hours per week) hourly and nonexempt position. This position reports to the Museum and Education Manager of ASMHPT. Pay rate is $20.00/hr. This is a seasonal position, filled during the times the museum is open to the public and available for rentals from March-December, with flexibility on weekends and evenings to assist with rentals and programs.
Benefits: $200.00/month stipend for health insurance and sick days.
General Schedule: Thursday-Saturday 9:30-4:30, includes a ½ unpaid lunch break. Flexibility depending on rental schedule required.

Responsibilities:
• Greet all visitors, individuals and groups, when they arrive at the meeting house. Process visitor entry fee transactions and respond to inquiries related to the building's history.
• Assist rental groups with property access, building systems, enforcing site protocols, answering questions throughout rental, including setup and breakdown.
• Assist with programs, field trips and tours as assigned, must be able to memorize tour.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• A GED, bachelor’s degree or demonstrated professional experience;
• Organization, time management, problem solving, and decision-making skills;
• Front-line customer service experience preferred, including working with a POS system and engaging face-to-face with the general public.
• Experience working with field trips, schools or students required;
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to supervise the logistics of programs and events as needed;
• Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
