POSITION: Summer Art Camp Assistant

The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) is seeking individuals to serve as Camp Teaching Assistants for our Summer Art Camp. The summer camp runs for 7 weeks from June 23 through August 8, 2025 (no camp on July 5th due to company holiday). Week-long fun and imaginative sessions give students a chance to learn new skills, create artwork and make new friends in an experience managed and inspired by Camp Instructors. Sessions are designed to appeal to all levels and interests of young artists, ages 6 - 14 years.

Camp Assistants support Camp Instructors and are responsible for:

  • Providing in-classroom teaching and management support.
  • Helping to insure safe experience for campers following Covid-19 guidelines.
  • Maintaining Camper's daily and weekly schedules by helping with arrivals, dismissals, snacks, lunch, and breaks.
  • Assisting with Canvas and Zoom if needed. (Training will be provided if needed).
  • Assist with preparing for Friday art exhibitions on CANVA. (Training will be provided, if needed)

Please visit PAFA Summer Art Camp for more details about the schedule of PAFA Art Camp.
