KieranTimberlake seeks a Business Development Coordinator to join our architectural firm. Responsibilities
The Business Development Coordinator works with the Business Development Manager and firm leaders to produce proposals, qualifications, client presentations, and interview materials. This individual organizes supporting documents and information to ensure an efficient process and high-quality results. In addition to content development, editing, and graphic layout skills, this role requires coordinating internal team deadlines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare RFQ and RFP submissions for new business opportunities.
- Organize, triage, and balance internal assignments to meet deadlines.
- Write and edit project narratives and specific proposal responses.
- Print, bind, and ship proposals.
- Compile graphic presentations for interviews and assist with logistics.
- Liaise with project teams to maintain accurate and up to date information for proposals.
- Organize and update project information and firm information databases.
- Organize and maintain project imagery and other proposal content resources.
Qualifications
Candidates must have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, experience working with graphic templates, and an interest in architecture. The ideal candidate is a creative, flexible multitasker who enjoys synthesizing information into a consistent whole and can work effectively toward deadlines. The Business Development Coordinator will be a part of a dynamic team and will collaborate to advance the firm’s strategic goals.
Additional qualifications include:
- Minimum of one to three years working in a similar environment
- Ability to think openly and iteratively in a fast-paced creative workplace
- Prior experience working with the request for proposals (RFP) process and industry standard forms, i.e. the General Service Administration's Standard Form 330
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
- Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, execute, delegate, and track tasks to meet a deadline
Although not required, additional consideration will be given to candidates with prior marketing experience in an architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) services firm.
