Children's Studio Manager

Woodmere Art Museum is seeking a full-time Manager of the Frances M. Maguire Hall for Art & Education Children’s Studio to develop and implement a studio program for children grades Pre-K to 12. The ideal candidate will build community interest that fosters an atmosphere of artistic discovery, free expression, and creative collaboration for young artists. 

The Development and Programs Assistant will support the fundraising activities of the Rosenbach’s three-person Development team, which raises more than $1.4M annually. In addition, the incumbent will coordinate the logistics for all Development events, including Delancey Society and membership programs (4-5 annually) as well as the “Rosenbach Presents” public program series, a joint effort between Development and the Department of Collections Engagement. The position will support the Senior Director of Advancement in the planning and production of Rosenbacchanal, the Rosenbach’s annual benefit gala, which raises more than $370,000 to support the Rosenbach and its mission. This is a hybrid position that allows for 1-2 days of remote work per week as responsibilities allow.

General Duties:

The Pennsbury Society (501 C 3) at Pennsbury Manor Historic site seeks qualified applicants for our entry level Museum Assistant position.  Duties involve providing school and daily tours, front desk operations, light custodial and office work, and serving as part of a team at this accredited museum. Applicants should have a degree in a related field (such as History or Education) or comparable experience. This position is full-time and paid through the Pennsbury Society. Benefits are included as well as paid vacation and sick leave.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, you’ll be the operational engine of a small but mighty development team, laying the groundwork for sustainable philanthropic growth. 
 
This is not your average back-office role. It’s a rare opportunity to shape the standards, systems, and rhythms of a department during its formative phase. You’ll implement and manage our donor database (likely DonorPerfect), formalize our stewardship systems, bring rigor to our reporting, and design internal processes that help leadership focus on relationship-building. Your work will enable our frontline fundraisers, the Director of Fundraising and the CEO, to make meaningful requests and deepen donor engagement.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for daily systems operations of the building including repairs and/or replacement of various building-related mechanical, electrical, plumbing, control systems, air handling units, and heat exchangers. Receives and responds to service calls, takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations and system breakdowns. Manages and monitors HVAC controls, emergency systems (e.g., fire, smoke, security), lighting systems, electrical, and plumbing.
