Reporting to the Director of Safety and Security, this role is responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees, visitors, property, and Museum assets. The Manager, Safety & Security, will oversee the daily safety and security operations while maintaining the highest standards of service.  Lead and manage the Security Team. Receives and responds to security and/or safety calls and takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations. 

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES 

Primary Function: The Digital Asset Management Specialist serves as an administrator for the digital asset management system (DAMS), overseeing the organization and usage of the institution's media assets. The Specialist works across departments to train key staff in using the technology and, ensures that the Foundation’s digital assets, including incoming photography by external photographers, are properly organized and described within the system. 

The National Liberty Museum (NLM) is seeking a full-time Museum Educator. This role is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in teaching the core concepts of liberty through the development of curriculum, projects, and educational resources connected to the Museum’s exhibitions. As part of the Education and Civic Learning Team, this position contributes to the development and delivery of education and public programs for the Museum’s student and educator audience. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about working collaboratively to support how museum concepts are taught in the museum, the classroom, and wherever learning happens.

Primary Function: Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Brand Engagement, the Digital Marketing Manager plays a key role at the Barnes and Calder Gardens by developing and executing digital marketing strategies that balance ambitious revenue goals with mission-driven messaging in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes the use of digital channels, particularly email marketing, to meet the needs of current and potential audiences, deepen engagement, and drive participation and revenue.

Visitor Experience Assistants (VEAs) welcome visitors to the Museum and engage with children and families in the exhibits, facilitating positive play-based learning experiences. Visitor Experience Assistants provide customer service throughout the Museum floor through their knowledge of daily programming, Museum exhibits, ticketing/membership offerings, and wayfinding.

Reporting to the Manager of Individual Giving, the Annual Support Associate is a development administrative professional.

The National Liberty Museum’s Visitor Services Representative provides support for all aspects of the visitor experience. The position will also provide support when needed in administrative, special events and operations departments. The Visitor Services Representative works collaboratively with the Manager of Visitor and Member Services and VS team to achieve its strategic, operating, and revenue objectives. This is a great position for recent graduates hoping to get experience in museums.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for daily systems operations of the building including repairs and/or replacement of various building-related mechanical, electrical, plumbing, control systems, air handling units, and heat exchangers. Receives and responds to service calls, takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations and system breakdowns. Manages and monitors HVAC controls, emergency systems (e.g., fire, smoke, security), lighting systems, electrical, and plumbing.
