Cabinet Maker / Woodworker

Loubier Design is a design build company that specializes in high-end custom millwork, cabinetry and furniture for both residential and commercial projects. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated shop woodworker to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Fabricate custom cabinetry, doors, countertops, paneling, furniture and various types of architectural millwork. The majority of our work is done in the shop, though on occasion you may be asked to help with onsite installs. A willingness to travel to project sites in Philadelphia and its neighboring counties is needed.

A suitable candidate possesses the following:
Knowledge of wood milling and production techniques
Knowledge of cabinet making, furniture building and joinery
Ability to work from and read shop drawings
Ability to follow precise instructions
Good time management skills to efficiently complete projects
Attention to detail
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
A good understanding of manufacturing tools and processes such as a CNC router, panel saw, edge bander, joiner, planer, table saw, miter saw, and other related tools
Good organizational skills and ability to practice proper safety and cleanliness
Must be able to stand on feet for a minimum 8 hours per day
Must have a driver’s license.
Excellent math skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Experience: 3+ years woodworking experience

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm with occasional overtime available

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
