The Morris Arboretum & Gardens of the University of Pennsylvania, located in Chestnut Hill, is looking for an Event/Wedding Supervisor to be the on-site manager for evening events during the remainder of the 2025 season.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for daily systems operations of the building including repairs and/or replacement of various building-related mechanical, electrical, plumbing, control systems, air handling units, and heat exchangers. Receives and responds to service calls, takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations and system breakdowns. Manages and monitors HVAC controls, emergency systems (e.g., fire, smoke, security), lighting systems, electrical, and plumbing.

Primary Function: Handles the setup, breakdown, and operation of Barnes AV equipment, including audio, video, lighting, or staging equipment. Oversees safe and efficient use of this equipment to support live and virtual art lectures, musical performances, and client events -- including corporate retreats and weddings. Ensures that complete customer satisfaction is achieved and is accountable for all inventory before, during and after each event.

Primary Function: The Museum Facilities Specialist is responsible under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager for providing a first-class experience to the Foundation’s visitors, guests, and employees by maintaining the Foundation’s building and grounds with continual care and maintenance.

Primary Function: The Guest and Protection Services Senior Specialist plays a key role in front-line operations by providing the team with constant visual surveillance information and access control to help provide an exceptional guest and staff experience, as well as to ensure the safety and protection of the art collection and the Foundation’s buildings and grounds. Bartram’s Garden seeks to fill a Seasonal Assistant position to work in support of the Garden’s Southwest Tree Program.  This program works in unison with the Southwest Tree Program and its accompanying high school youth intern cohort, the ROOTS Tree Crew.
