The Morris Arboretum & Gardens, located in Chestnut Hill, is hiring a Rental Manager. The Rental Manager oversees all aspects of the Arboretum’s extensive Rental Program (overly 100 events annually). The Manager is responsible for meeting revenue goals, supervising rental staff and third-party vendors, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing rental operations and bookings. The Rental Manager acts as the main point of contact for all booked clients and rental activities, ensuring smooth events and happy clients.

We work with the City of Philadelphia and its communities to steward our parks and nurture our shared environment, cultural resources, and public health.  We lead capital projects and historic preservation efforts, foster neighborhood park stewardship, attract and leverage investments, and develop innovative programs throughout the 10,200 acres that include Fairmount Park, six other watershed parks, and more than 130 neighborhood parks and gardens around the city.

This position is responsible for daily systems operations of the building including repairs and/or replacement of various building-related mechanical, electrical, plumbing, control systems, air handling units, and heat exchangers. Receives and responds to service calls, takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations and system breakdowns. Manages and monitors HVAC controls, emergency systems (e.g., fire, smoke, security), lighting systems, electrical, and plumbing.

This position is part of the AFSCME Local 397 bargaining unit.

The Venue Manager’s role is to ensure that the Festival site is run smoothly and is well-maintained from setup to teardown. This is a temporary position whose primary purpose is to oversee the general operations of the Princeton Festival’s facilities before, during, and after all concerts. The Venue Manager will report to the Director of Artistic Operations and will work closely with front-of-house, security, concessions, and production staff along with Princeton Symphony Orchestra staff.
