Volunteers needed: Affordable Art Fair Sat June 13

InLiquid is seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks leading up to and during the one-day Art for the Cash Poor event. Several volunteer shifts are available throughout the day, offering opportunities to support different event activities and operations. 

Volunteers can get credit for school or community service.

About the event
Every year, artists gather to sell their artwork, all between $1 and $250, making it easy for anyone and everyone to collect original art. This event will be on N. American Street, in the heart of the growing arts corridor in Philadelphia's South Kensington neighborhood.

This is a fun outdoor event.

Volunteers should be comfortable with the following:

• Working outdoors in all weather
• Standing and walking for long periods of time
• Providing friendly support to event staff, artist vendors and the general public 
• Helping vendors set up their tables
• Handing out water at the Hydration Stations
• Moving barricades, tables and chairs
• Setting up/breaking down tents

Volunteer Shifts are set up in 3 hr increments (see below for shifts and type of activites): 

• AFTCP Pre-Event Flyer Distribution | Mon 6/8, 11am - 5pm
• AFTCP Pre-Event Set Up | Fri 6/12, noon - 2pm
• AFTCP Event Day | Sat 6/13 Shift 1: 8:30 am - 12:15pm
• AFTCP Event Day | Sat 6/13 Shift 2: noon - 3:15pm
• AFTCP Event Day | Sat 6/13 Shift 3: 3pm - 6:30pm
• AFTCP Event Day | Sat 6/13 Shift 4: 5:30pm - 7:30pm
• AFTCP Event Day Photography | Sat 6/13 Shift 1: noon - 3:15pm
• AFTCP Event Day Photography | Sat 6/13 Shift 2: 3pm - 6:15pm
