Bryn Mawr Film Institute

Bryn Mawr Film Institute seeks an intern for the 2025 Summer Filmmaking Workshop. The workshop runs from June 23 to July 31, Mondays - Thursdays, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

The assistant will support the workshop instructor in leading a group of high school students through all stages of the filmmaking process—writing a script, scouting locations, shooting, editing, etc.—culminating in the completion of a short film. This job, like the job of a filmmaker, will be multidisciplinary and vary depending on the situation. The assistant will be part instructor, part co-producer, part camp counselor.

Applicants may be college students or recent graduates with experience in film or media production. Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and DSLR is a plus, as is teaching or leadership experience. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and access to a car for the duration of the workshop. A small stipend is available.

Only candidates chosen for an interview will be contacted.
