Please Touch Museum seeks a part time (up to 24 hours weekly) Human Resources & Payroll Assistant, to provide general administrative support related to Human Resources functions, focusing on recruitment and other confidential administrative duties and projects. Will also have responsible in processing biweekly payroll through ADP.
Other responsibilities include but limited to: Maintains recruitment and employment records and complies reports from the database; assist with recruitment and interview process; assist with onboarding functions; train new and existing employees on ADP; input data and maintains the HR database; prepares, reviews and execute all necessary payroll processing functions through currently ADP payroll/HR system; assists with various research projects, administrative and special HR projects; responds timely to routine HR questions; and participates and supports key HR initiatives.
Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting a HR department, preferably in a non-profit organization; experience on recruitment required. Associate degree required and/or HR experience. Understanding of HR database and ADP payroll processing required. Demonstrates a high degree of integrity and respect for confidential information. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong initiative, problem solving skills and sound judgment. Detailed oriented. Ability to follow through and organized. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Strong customer service focus. Excellent time management. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Required to work Mondays for payroll processing.
