Provide routine security of all museum visitors, employees and museum property. Coordinate with other staff members. Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems inside security room. Interact with the business guests including badging, assist in connecting guest with staff person. Respond to emergency situations.  The Security Guard reports directly to the Chief of Security.

The department of Community Programs and Inclusion at Please Touch Museum develops and delivers accessible, mission-driven programming that connects diverse communities to the Museum through play-based learning experiences. Members of the Department of Community Programs and Inclusion facilitate and develop Journey Together programs, field trips, and general museum programming. Journey Together is a grant funded program exclusively for children, ages 8 months to 5 years old, and their caretakers. The exhibition for the 2026 season is These Truths: The Declarations of Independence, which runs from April 10, 2026 to January 3, 2027. This exhibition explores how Americans used, reproduced, and understood the Declaration during the first fifty years of its history. Featuring rare printings of the Declaration, along with other manuscripts, paintings, letters, and artifacts will be on view for visitors to learn how the document was drafted, printed, and spread across the new nation.

Upper Dublin Public Library (UDPL) is seeking a creative and collaborative Programming Assistant to deliver engaging, inspiring enrichment opportunities. This limited-term (with potential for extension or renewal), part-time position (22–25 hours per week), including periodic night and weekend hours, begins immediately.

As a member of the Library’s Community Engagement Team, this Programming Assistant position supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of programs primarily for adults, while providing secondary support for programs serving general audiences, families, and children. A key focus of this role is supporting UDPL’s highly successful Adult Discovery & Learning series, offered three seasons per year with four- to six-week courses on topics such as history, current events, art, music, and performance. This flagship program draws approximately 750 attendees annually and is central to the Library’s adult education mission.

Other responsibilities may include supporting high-profile bestselling author events, which connect readers with writers and contributing to a wide range of hands-on learning opportunities, including programs in fabric arts, science, technology, and other creative and educational disciplines. Alongside programming, the role actively engages in partnership building and community outreach to expand the Library’s reach and impact.

The Production Intern will participate in load-ins, load-outs, and running of shows and events on the mainstage as well as in the studio, restaurant, and biergarten. They will also aid the Production department with administrative and maintenance tasks.

The Programming Intern will assist the Programming Department in meeting the individual and logistical needs of presented and independent artists. This position is ideal for someone with experience in events programming and artist relations, with an interest in contemporary live art on a local and international scale. The Programming Intern often interfaces with artists and as such a knowledge of and curiosity about contemporary performance across the genres of dance, theater, music, comedy, cabaret, and circus is essential.
