The Doing Good Co-Teacher role is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are in the early stages of their teaching career and or want to gain hands on teaching experience. 

The Doing Good Co-Teacher supports students at each stage of the Doing Good program. The Co-Teacher ensures all students meet attendance and program requirements including the implementation and completion of their group’s service-learning project. You will work as part of a team that includes other teachers and mentors, and the Manager of Programs and Student engagement on preparing and executing program content and lesson plans. A minimum of two professional development workshops will be required each school year. (Teachers are compensated for professional development activities). Project 440’s highest priorities are to provide a welcoming, engaging, challenging, and fulfilling learning experience for all of our students.

Located at 7979 State Road, Philadelphia, PA, this initiative will feature murals in the entry corridor and potentially an exterior entrance space of the facility.

The artist will be expected to engage the community, design, and implement murals that reflect the mission and values of the Riverview Wellness Village. The total budget for the mural project, inclusive of artist fee, assistant artists, materials, and labor, is $36,500. The project is scheduled to be completed by late Fall 2025.
