Rooted in Arab arts, culture, and language, Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture offers artistic and educational programming that enriches understanding and celebrates diversity, while supporting the pursuit and affirmation of Arab American cultural identity and playing a constructive civic role within broader American society. 

Al-Bustan is seeking teaching artists whose work connects to the arts and culture of the Arabic speaking world and the MENA region to join our roster and work with our School Arab Arts program.  

The Development Manager will be the primary fundraiser for the Art Center.  In conjunction with the Co-Executive Directors, they will be responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of all donors, major gifts, annual giving, and corporate funding.

Call for Artists: Percent for Art Opportunity

Creative Philadelphia and the Capital Program Office are announcing an open call to commission site-specific, permanent, public artworks to be installed at the Riverview Wellness Village located in the Holmesburg section of Northeast Philadelphia.

Afterschool Visual Art 

The winter/spring teaching artist afterschool position begins February 10th and runs to May 21st. Drawing and painting are the focus with the ability to incorporate other mediums. The classes run two times per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:30 pm. West Park Cultural Center operates afterschool programming in West Philadelphia. Program participants range in age from 10 to 13 witha  class size of 15.

Studio Incamminati, School for Contemporary Realist Art, is a higher education institution offering traditional art training in painting, drawing, and sculpture for today’s artists and creatives. Located in the Bok Building in South Philadelphia, Studio Incamminati (SI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers workshops, night classes and drop-in classes, as well as educational partnerships and outreach programs. SI seeks a proactive, detail-oriented, and personable Office Administrator to support our vibrant arts community. As a first point of contact for students, faculty, visiting artists, and guests, you will contribute to fostering a collaborative and creative environment. This position is key to ensuring the efficient operation of the school and supporting academic and programmatic initiatives.

Fleisher Art Memorial is seeking a lead teaching artist to teach Jewelry to students in Grades 9–12 as part of our Young Artists Program, beginning Saturday, September 6th, 2025. This class offers high school students hands-on experience with jewelry-making techniques while encouraging creative exploration and personal expression through the metal arts. Additional Saturday and future teaching opportunities may also be available.

Fleisher Art Memorial is seeking a Spanish-speaking lead teaching artist to teach a Kindergarten through Third Grade class in our Young Artists Program beginning Saturday, September 6th, 2025. This class is part of a new initiative & important to expand access to high-quality arts education for Spanish-speaking students in our community. Additional Saturday and future teaching opportunities may become available.
