WXPN, the public media service of the University of Pennsylvania, seeks a self-motivated media sales specialist to generate and cultivate corporate sponsorships for our Business Support team.

Under the direction of the Director of Sponsorship, they will design and implement marketing efforts targeting potential business sponsors for local programming, events, digital assets, and prospect for new business. They will manage current accounts to ensure timely collection and to increase renewal revenue. Work with other station departments including marketing, events and programming as necessary. Attend staff meetings, industry conferences when appropriate, and networking events. Perform other work as needed, including compiling personal weekly sales reports, activity reports, and working with the traffic department to ensure the campaigns are accurate and that sponsorship announcements are written, approved, scheduled, and run appropriately.
