Suzanne McFadden

Senior Vice President, Marketing, Customer Experience Communications, Comcast Corporation

Suzanne McFadden serves as the Senior Vice President, Customer Experience Communications for Comcast. In this role, Suzanne works to improve customer experience by infusing brand voice, transparency and clarity into all customer communications for the XFINITY product line – residential television, high-speed Internet, digital voice, and home security.  She is responsible for communications for the full lifecycle including customer onboarding, product engagement and service and strives for personal, proactive and digital first customer connections.  She currently leads a team of fifteen marketers that partners with the Customer Experience, Care, Marketing, Sales, Digital, Legal and Government Affairs organizations to ensure customers experience a seamless and coordinated communication journey no matter the nature of the message.

Suzanne joined Comcast in 1997 as Marketing Manager for the high-speed Internet product in the Philadelphia market, which was one of the first broadband markets in the country, and has worked on the launches of nearly all services to follow, including Digital Voice, Home Security, the X1 Platform, TV Everywhere, Netflix and soon mobile services.  She has functional experience in pricing, promotion, retail, ecommerce, direct marketing such as email and SMS, advertising and communications.

Prior to her current role, McFadden served two years as Senior Vice President, Product Marketing for XFINITY in which she focused on creating Integrated Marketing Communications plans to bring new products to market.  Previous to that, she was Vice President, Marketing responsible for acquisition, competitive and multicultural marketing plans; a role in which she helped drive subscriber growth so Comcast could become one of the largest broadband and voice providers in the country.  In those many years, McFadden helped to launch new sales channels such as e-tail and retail including partners such as Best Buy, Walmart and Circuit City which was new territory for the cable industry; participated in agency searches to hire firms for sports marketing, small business and competitive work; and formed many of the internal processes in place today to organize the marketing playbooks and governance practices for the company.   

McFadden participates in numerous industry associations, including the American National Advertisers (ANA), Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) and Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT). She is a graduate of the Betsy Magnus Leadership Institute and CTAMU (a partnership with Harvard University).  She is a three-time CTAM Mark Award Winner, an award that honors people for their marketing excellence and creative genius.  In addition, she is heavily involved in mentoring within the organization and is a champion of efforts to improve the internal culture and working environment through partnerships with the Sales and Marketing Human Resources team.  
Prior to joining Comcast, McFadden was the Director of Marketing for PRISM/SportsChannel Philadelphia. McFadden graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Business Administration, with concentrations in Marketing and Finance, from the University of Delaware. She resides in Fort Washington, PA, with her husband and two children.  She has a passion for travel, reading, local dining and theater.
