Curriculum Consultant

The Curriculum Consultant position is largely focused on the creation of high-quality, engaging curriculum centered around the Greenfield Student Screening program. It is the Philadelphia Film Society’s main educational program and, for the 2019-2020 academic school year, the program will start in January. The program is undergoing significant changes from what was previously done with the inclusion of four new films and three different possible configurations of trips and the Curriculum Consultant will work closely with the Education and Community Programming Manager to ensure that the new infrastructure is supported by strong, engaged, critical pedagogy, that it speaks to the needs and wants of Philadelphia educators and students, and that its aligned with Common Core standards with clearly differentiated segments for age.
