Walnut Street Theatre

Walnut Street Theatre (WST) in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Head Flyperson. WST is a historic building with a hemp fly system. Primary responsibilities include: safely loading in all flown scenery and electrics, running technical rehearsals and performances, and maintaining the fly system. Ideal candidate will have extensive rigging experience, knowledge of knots and ropes, and be accustomed to running fly systems for live theatrical performances. Candidate will work closely with designers, management, and other onstage departments. This is a full-time, seasonal, IATSE position. If not already a member of IATSE Local 8, candidate will join the union. Base rate is $40.43 per hour.
