Opening Night Meet the Artist reception for Rafael Lozano-Hemmer's world premier of the interactive installation "Open Air" along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This is a special ticketed event from 6 - 7:30 PM on 9/20/12 at the Park Towne Place Apartments' Clubhouse. "Open Air" will officially be launched at a public celebration beginning at 7:30 PM on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Vivid Thinking with Dan Roam: Visual Problem Solving
Join us for an interactive workshop with best-selling author and public speaker Dan Roam as he presents his most recent book Blah, Blah, Blah: What to Do When Words Don’t Work. Roam is the author of The Back of the Napkin, named Fast Company’s Innovation Book of the Year, and has been a frequent guest on many national broadcast networks, including CNN & NBC.
Roam's workshop will focus on Vivid Thinking, his unique problem solving process featured in Blah, Blah, Blah. He will teach attendees techniques that combine our verbal and visual minds so we can think and learn more quickly, teach and inspire our colleagues, and enjoy ideas in a whole new way.

In addition to the silent auction, the evening will feature the premiere of the new Newark Arts Alliance (NAA) promotional video by photographer Nancy Breslin.
