"Open Air" Opening Night Meet the Artist Reception

Vivid Thinking with Dan Roam: Visual Problem Solving

Join us for an interactive workshop with best-selling author and public speaker Dan Roam as he presents his most recent book Blah, Blah, Blah: What to Do When Words Don’t Work. Roam is the author of The Back of the Napkin, named Fast Company’s Innovation Book of the Year, and has been a frequent guest on many national broadcast networks, including CNN & NBC.
Roam's workshop will focus on Vivid Thinking, his unique problem solving process featured in Blah, Blah, Blah. He will teach attendees techniques that combine our verbal and visual minds so we can think and learn more quickly, teach and inspire our colleagues, and enjoy ideas in a whole new way.

Where's the ART?
Art is all around you! Join us for a fundraising event celebrating art in Newark! Your ticket price includes admission, dinner, and a vote in the Where's the ART? competition. In addition to the silent auction, the evening will feature the premiere of the new Newark Arts Alliance (NAA) promotional video by photographer Nancy Breslin.

Enter your artistic creation answering the question "Where's the ART?" for a chance to win a $500 cash prize. The winner will be determined by popular vote at this dinner event. This is a ticketed event and every ticket sold to the dinner includes one vote. All proceeds benefit the Newark Arts Alliance.
