Learn how to use MS Access to create a database, enter and update individual records and create reports based on specific criteria. This instructor led class will teach you how to create a basic database to track client, donor or event information using hands-on examples.
Excel Introduction
Budgets, donations, time sheets, oh my! Learn how to use a spreadsheet to perform calculations and keep your data organized. Students will gain hands-on experience setting up a spreadsheet, entering data, creating formulas to perform calculations, and formatting the sheet for printing

Description: The Business Skills Course is a multi-part course that is designed to teach the fundamentals of running a small business. Obtain financing, learn from experts in your industry, network with fellow entrepreneurs, and work with business consultants for free.

Six Characters in Search of an Auction, Curio's 2012 Benefit Gala
Curio Theatre Company kicks off its eighth season with a one-night fundraising gala. Guests will be treated to an open bar with wine and beer, a meal catered by The Gold Standard Cafe, live music from jazz band Dr. Ketchup, and skits from the company. Be sure to bring your checkbook for some of the fabulous items at our live and silent auction.

Volunteer Consultant Training Session
The Arts & Business Council’s skills-based volunteer programs Business Volunteers for the Arts (BVA) and Technology Connectors (TC) offer you consulting, leadership and project management experience—all while helping to strengthen management and operations of local nonprofit arts and culture organizations.
As a new BVA or TC volunteer, you begin with a half-day class designed to orient you to the region's arts sector and prepare you for consulting assignments. next, you are matched by program directors to carefully curated projects that align with your skills, interests and geography. Possible projects include: strategic/business planning, marketing and public relations, financial systems and processes, human resources management, technology assessment, and technology planning and implementation.
