Fall Employee Benefits Seminar

The Cultural Alliance in partnership with Gallagher Benefit Services will be holding an educational Health Insurance/Open Enrollment workshops in our offices at 1616 Walnut Street on Monday, November 8 from Noon to 1:30 PM (lunch will be provided).

Ivy Silver, Area VP and Gallgher's expert staff will present a wealth of information about coverage available to you through the Cultural Alliance's Health Insurance and Employee Benefit Program, health insurance best practices and also updates on how changes in Health Care Reform will affect you during this open enrollment. We strongly encourage HR/benefit staff and senior representatives from your organizations to attend one of these sessions whether you obtain health insurance through the Cultural Alliance's program or through alternative means.

If you are unable to attend this event you can also register for the Thursday, November 4 from 9 to 10:30 AM seminar.

Onorato, Corbett to debate Oct. 18 at 6ABC

Democrat Dan Onorato and Republican Tom Corbett will have a live televised debate at 6ABC.

In what could draw the largest audience to witness any part of the governor's race, Democrat Dan Onorato and Republican Tom Corbett will meet Oct. 18 for a live televised debate at 6ABC. The one-hour event, cosponsored by the League of Women Voters, will close a series of three scheduled debates between the two men from Pittsburgh. Jim Gardner, the station's top news anchor, will moderate the program, which is to start at 7 p.m. It will follow another televised debate, Oct. 16, at a Pittsburgh station.
