Choosing the Right Communications Mix- Free Webinar

It doesn't make sense to communicate through only one channel. These days, it often makes sense to not only consider email, direct mail, and websites as potential channels, but also social networking sites, blogs, online communities, and more. Which channels make sense to communicate what kind of messages, or to encourage action? What's actually working in what situations? We'll provide a decision making structure to help you define what makes sense for you.

By the end of the session, you will understand:
-The strengths and weaknesses of particular communication channels
- Strategic communication mixes for common goals like fundraising, awareness building, and event publicity
- Key considerations in choosing the right mix for you

Understanding Philly Business Tax - A Panel Workshop for Artists and Collectives

Philly bloggers, poets, dancers, bands, consultants, and designers alike flock to PVLA for advice about the Business Privilege Tax. Come learn how it works and how to avoid or cure headaches from the experts: Accountants, Tax Attorneys, and representatives from the City of Philadelphia.

Panelists will discuss the rules candidly in light of several realistic scenarios and answer your questions. Be a part of making the rules easy to understand and navigate by suggesting FAQs for PVLA and the city to post, and walk away with a good understanding of your options now and in the future.

Registration and Breakfast is from 8:30 - 9:00am.
