Performance Attendant

Longwood Gardens is seeking part time Performance Attendants. This position is part of a team that is responsible for providing crowd control and will serve as a door attendant and/or usher for live performances, workshops, residencies and rehearsals presented by Longwood Gardens.

Performance Attendants will also carry out the instructions of the Performance Supervisor including but not limited to artist hospitality; marketing and PR initiatives; supplemental guest services; safety of performers and audience. Attendants welcome guests and provide assistance and accurate information as needed, assuring that guests have a memorable, enjoyable experience.  In addition, Attendants insure the cleanliness of the venue and seating area both prior to audience arrival and after the conclusion of the event.

We are looking for organized individuals with good communication skills. This individual should have knowledge of and love for the performing arts.  The applicant must have the personality and ability to interact well with the public. Scheduled hours will change seasonally and are primarily evenings, weekends and holidays.
