As a Sales & Service Representative with the Franklin Institute you will play an integral role within our Admissions Department in the areas of ticketing, admissions, box office operations, and membership services. The primary duties for this role include the mastery of our ticketing software, excellent cash handling ability, the talent and experience to provide exceptional customer service, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications: High school education, experience working in a customer service environment, excellent computer aptitude, impeccable cash handling skills, the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, and the willingness to learn and grow within the department.
Primary Duties: Provide world-class customer service at all times, process ticketing transactions at the point of sale utilizing Galaxy ticketing software, interact regularly with guests to provide detailed information about the museum, work some special events distributing Will Call tickets and checking-in guests upon arrival to the museum, handle basic and advanced mathematic calculations related to cash transactions and cash-out processes, be professional and reliable in all areas of your job, be prompt and organized in your work areas, be awesome every day!
Unscheduled Part-Time (up to 19 hours per week). Schedule will vary but the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a must.
