Creative Philadelphia and the Capital Program Office are announcing an open call to commission site-specific, permanent, public artworks to be installed at the Riverview Wellness Village located in the Holmesburg section of Northeast Philadelphia.

The Strides Collective, a non-profit queer theatre company in Philadelphia, is seeking applicants for Administrative & Outreach Coordinator.

ABOUT US: Founded in 2020, The Strides Collective produces and develops theatrical work by emerging playwrights that embraces the queer experience through authentic, modern, and innovative storytelling. Our work prioritizes the goal of normalizing the conversation about queer identity, creating a safe haven in which emerging artists can tell their stories without fear of judgment. 

POSITION SUMMARY: SEAMAAC is seeking to hire a Teaching Artist in the following Fields:  DJ/Music Production and Spoken Word/MC. We are committed to providing a safe space for students to learn and grow from their time with practicing artists. SEAMAAC’s Urban Arts Entrepreneurship (UAE) afterschool and summer programs’ mission is to build and support a multi-racial, multi-ethnic community of Philadelphia youth, and to support their path to post-high school education and career opportunities.

Afterschool Visual Art 

The winter/spring teaching artist afterschool position begins February 10th and runs to May 21st. Drawing and painting are the focus with the ability to incorporate other mediums. The classes run two times per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:30 pm. West Park Cultural Center operates afterschool programming in West Philadelphia. Program participants range in age from 10 to 13 witha  class size of 15.

Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) seeks a strategic and visionary Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and impact.
